SPAD (SIGNAL PASSED AT DANGER) ALARM APPARATUS AND ON-VEHICLE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an inexpensive SPAD (Signal Passed at Danger) alarm apparatus for eliminating a necessity for installing a radio device at each traffic signal.

SOLUTION: Signal information from a plurality of the traffic signals 41-44 is collected by a ground device 50, and transmitted from the radio device 52. An on-vehicle device 30 uses a GPS receiver 33, and inexpensively senses a location of a train 20. An influence due to an aberrance of the GPS is reduced, and an accurate location is obtained by a map matching process of an on-vehicle processor 34. When the radio device 35 receives the signal information, the existence of the SPAD is determined based on the signal information and the location information. An alarming means 34a generates an alarm sound at the SPAD.
