PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply-designed appearance to an indoor panel 10 of an air conditioner 1 of a type in which an air suction port 11 and an air outlet port 12 are juxtaposed, and dispense with a complicated mechanism or operation for realizing the design. SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises an opening cover 15 covering extending over both the air suction port 11 and the air outlet port 12, and an opening and closing mechanism for opening and closing the suction port 11 and the outlet port 12 by displacing the opening cover 15 within the range where the suction port 11 and the outlet port 12 are provided.
