PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal which can select positioning data acquired by a GPS. SOLUTION: After performing positioning at a positioning point Pn (S25), the distance difference Ld between a valid positioning point Pa acquired last time and the Pn acquired this time (S26). When the calculated distance difference Ld is not more than the critical moving distance L of a mobile unit, it is decided that the positioning data on the positioning point is valid (YES at S27), and logging is performed on a map (S32).
