PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel for information display which facilitates manufacturing processes and is low-cost even when color display using a color filter is performed. SOLUTION: The panel for information display that is constituted by charging at least one or more kinds of display media 3 made of at least one or more kinds of particles and having an optical reflection factor and charging property in cells (each corresponding to one display unit) formed by a partition wall 4 between two substrates 1 and 2 at lest one of which is transparent and moves the display media by applying an electric field to the display media to display information of an image etc., is characterized in that the display-side transparent substrate is provided with the color filter 27 constituted by arranging filters of a specified number of colors and a black layer 31 is provided between the partition wall 4 and the display-side transparent substrate 2.
