PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive endless belt, which has superior durability in addition to various required performance of belts, such as elastic modulus or charging characteristic, and also which can satisfy the required performance, even regarding point of glossiness or set resistance properties without causing problems of image shift or the like; and to provide an image forming apparatus that uses the same. SOLUTION: The endless belt has a tandem system for transfer and conveyance; wherein a recording medium held by electrostatic chuck is circulated and driven by a driving member, which is conveyed to four kinds of imaging elements, and each toner image is sequentially transferred to the recording medium. The endless belt has a multilayer structure, comprising at least a base layer and an outermost layer starting from the inside, which is formed by coextrusion. The base layer has a thermoplastic elastomer as the main component with crystal melting point of 210°C or higher, and the outermost layer contains a thermoplastic resin as the main component.
