PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PPS (polyphenylene sulfide) resin composition maintaining excellent heat resistance, dimensional stability and flame retardance, etc., having excellent strength and low gas properties (a small amount of gases emitted during melting) and making surface smoothness compatible with rigidity for vapor deposition of an excellent metal film and to provide a molded product for light reflection. SOLUTION: The PPS resin composition is obtained by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of a PPS resin with (B) 1-99 pts.wt. of synthetic mica, (C) 0.1-200 pts.wt. of calcium carbonate and (D) 0.1-200 pts.wt. of a particulate inorganic filler as follows.
