PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinyl ester-based polymer latex composition which is used for an adhesive and a glue for woodwork, used in a paint, a coating and ink, used for treating leather, and used for adhesion of a nonwoven fabric and having improved adhesion strength. SOLUTION: The vinyl ester-based polymer latex composition is obtained by radical emulsion polymerization substantially in the absence of protective colloid without a surfactant or in the presence of a small amount of surfactant.
