PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate troublesomeness in driving, and to safely and smoothly carry out driving, by preventing operating equipment for a vehicle from wrongly actuating when an obstacle temporary disappears. SOLUTION: A millimeter wave radar 3 (an obstacle detecting means) detecting the obstacle in front of an own vehicle 1, and a control unit 10 (an operation controlling means) controlling vehicular operation equipment (a brake means 14, an alarm device 13, and a seat belt pretensioner 15) according to a detection state of the obstacle by the millimeter wave radar 3 are provided. An obstacle position estimating means 24 is provided, which estimates a position of the obstacle when the obstacle detected by the millimeter wave radar 3 is no longer detected.
