A catalytic apparatus for a vehicle is provided to increase purification efficiency by employing new structure of a catalyst carrier to reduce a loading amount of precious metals. A catalytic apparatus for a vehicle includes a front catalyst(11), a rear catalyst(11'), a can, a roll bar(15), a motor(16), and an electronic control unit. The front catalyst and the rear catalyst are divided and disposed opposite to each other. The can covers outer peripheries of the front catalyst and the rear catalyst. The roll bar is pivotally installed between the front catalyst and the rear catalyst to rotate the front catalyst and the rear catalyst. The motor is installed at the exterior of the can to rotate the roll bar. The electronic control unit controls rotation of the roll bar. The front catalyst and the rear catalyst are rotated in opposite directions depending on a rotational speed of the roll bar.
