PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypeptide, etc., for the treatment of conformational disease.

SOLUTION: A polypeptide contains a specific amino acid sequence and bonding to a causal protein of conformational disease to inactivate the pathogenic action of the protein; a nucleic acid encoding the polypeptide; and a recombinant expression vector or a recombinant virus containing the nucleic acid in an expressible state. The abnormality in a cell can be recovered by using a molecular mechanism of ALS onset caused by a variant SOD1 protein.
