<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase flow from a pressure regulating valve at valve opening. <P>SOLUTION: The pressure regulating valve has a valve element which is openably/closable provided between a primary side flow passage and a secondary side flow passage and regulates the flow of fluid flowing between both flow passages. On the valve element, static pressure of the fluid introduced from an opening part 132 provided at a position distant from the wall surface of the primary side flow passage 104 acts in the closing direction of the valve element. At the opening part 132, the fluid has high speed and low static pressure. Consequently, since an amount of valve opening increases in sharp response to the flow of the fluid at the opening of the valve element, the sufficient flow is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
