<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint body of a fuel cell and the fuel cell wherein power generating characteristics are high and a humidification control can be carried out simply and easily. <P>SOLUTION: A catalyst composition for the fuel cell contains conductive powder particles on which catalyst components are carried and fibrous carbon. At both faces of an electrolyte film 4, in the joint body of the fuel cell equipped with an electrode consisting of catalytic layers 3, 5 and gas diffusion layers 2, 6, this is the joint body of the fuel cell having a layer which contains a water repellent resin and fibrous carbon at least at a part of the gas diffusion layer surface in which the gas diffusion layers 2, 6 are contacted with the catalyst layers, and the fuel cell using the joint body. At the both faces of the electrolyte film 4, in the joint body of the fuel cell equipped with the electrode consisting of the catalyst layers 3, 5 and the gas diffusion layers 2, 6, this is the joint body having a layer which contains the conductive powder particles, the water repellent resin, and the fibrous carbon at least at a part of the gas diffusion layer surface in which the gas diffusion layers 2, 6 are contacted with the catalyst layer 3, 5, and the fuel cell using the joint body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
