<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a vehicle from running short of drive force when the gear-shift to the first speed is inhibited. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU executes a program which contains the step (S210) of controlling an automatic transmission to shift the gear to the second speed if the transmission is in the first gear inhibition mode of a shift to the first gear speed (YES at S200), in the case (yes at S200) wherein the running state (vehicle speed and accelerator opening) of the vehicle is in the running zone of the first gear in a gear shift diagram (YES at S202), and simultaneously increasing the torque (output torque) of an engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
