<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise display device capable of obtaining a merchandise trade system which is highly convenient for a user by eliminating the dissatisfaction of the user that the user can not check actual merchandise in his or her hand, that is, the problem in on-line shopping. <P>SOLUTION: The merchandise display device 4 can communicate with an administrator server, which manages the trade of merchandise, through a network communication part 17. Merchandises, whose information is disclosed through a communication network, are stored in a display BOX 11. An authentication processing part 15 accepts authentication information for deciding whether or not a user is registered as a member in the administrator server from the user, and transmits the authentication information to the administrator server, and receives the authentication result information from the administrator server.
