<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To close an opening and closing valve of a coupler with firm closing force, and to rapidly release the connection of the couplers after closing the opening and closing valve. <P>SOLUTION: In the emergency isolating device 1 in the liquid handling system, an operation mechanism 33 for releasing the connection of the couplers 2 by a clamper 3 is provided with a cylinder device 25, a cam 21 having a cam surface 21a fixed to a valve stem 4a of the opening and closing valve of one of the couplers 2, abutted on an end of a rod 25a of the cylinder device 25 so as to rotate the valve stem 4a to a valve closing direction by extension of the rod 25a, and permitting extension of the rod 25a in the sate wherein the rotation of the valve stem 4a is stopped after closing the opening and closing valve, and a pusher 31 operated by extension of the rod 25a and abutted on a spring case 17 of a connection mechanism 8 after stopping of the rotation of the valve stem 4a by the cam 21, and releasing the connection of end clamp members of the clamper 3 by the connection mechanism 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
