PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for a game machine, which is structured to approach a panel member of the game machine to irradiate the panel member, capable of securing a wide irradiation angle, and allowing a user to visually recognize printed symbols, etc. by widely irradiating the panel member. SOLUTION: The lighting device 100 is composed of a cylindrically curved light diffusion plate 104 attached to a base board, on which light emitting diodes 102 are mounted, to widely irradiate the rear surface of the panel member 152 of the slot machine. Though the panel member and the lighting device are located close to each other, the lighting device can widely and efficiently irradiate the panel member and the visibility of the printed symbols can be enhanced.
