PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finish a wire guide for wire electric discharge machining made of polycrystalline diamond sintered compact (PCD), with fewer processes, in high accuracy, and so as not to damage a wire electrode to be slidingly guided. SOLUTION: A diamond group sintered compact is processed and formed to a wire guide body having a predetermined dimension and shape by a CNC wire electric discharge machining, and a sliding surface processed with the electric discharge machining which guides with a wire electrode being contacted is finished to be a smooth sliding surface by subliming a projection part of diamond particles projected in a projected shape or the like with a technique which modifies the surface by radiating an electron beam having a large cross section and large energy in a pulse shape for a short time.
