<p>A device (10) for positioning an object to be conveyed includes a lower block (12), an intermediate body (80), and an upper block (120). The intermediate body (80) is constructed from a retainer (82) and a ball (90) and is formed such that a shaft section (100) extends from the retainer (82) to a movable space (108) inside the lower block (12) and to a movable space (170) inside the upper block (120). A first spring member (110) is attached between the lower block (12) and the shaft section (100), and a spring member (140) is attached between the upper block (120) and the shaft section (100). The retainer (82) can be displaced, sliding relative to the lower block (12). Also, the upper block (120) can be displaced, sliding relative to the retainer (82).
