A beverage dispensing system is disclosed. The beverage dispensing system has one or more beverage dispensing apparatus that each have a control module, a plurality of light sources that are operated under the control of the control module and an actuation indicator that communicates actuation data to the control module to indicate that the beverage dispensing apparatus has been actuated. The beverage dispensing apparatus also has a controller that is in communication with at least one of the beverage dispensing apparatus. The controller is configured to communicate control instructions to the control module of each beverage dispensing apparatus and receive actuation data from the control module of each beverage dispensing apparatus.
