A vacuum control canister for a fuel tank is provided to obtain safety of the fuel tank by complementing a pressure control valve in the canister as a negative pressure path between an engine and the fuel tank. A vacuum control canister for a fuel tank includes a fuel tank port(22), an engine port(25), an air filter port(28), an engine damper chamber(24), and a diaphragm type negative pressure relief valve(33). The fuel tank port is connected to the fuel tank to suck a fuel gas. The engine port is connected to a surge tank to discharge the fuel gas into the engine damper chamber. The air filter port is connected to the air filter and is formed in an air damper chamber to ventilate the air. The engine damper chamber is connected to the surge tank. The diaphragm type negative pressure relief valve is installed at the air damper chamber to open a negative pressure release hole.
