<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a current from leaking from a covered conductor 79, connected to a high voltage power source circuit, to a front metal plate 73, on which the covered conductor 79 is disposed, while avoiding a decrease in the degree of freedom of layout or an increase in the size of the apparatus, which results from disposing the high voltage power source circuit near a member, such as a charging roller, developing roll, or a primary transfer roller, to which a high voltage is applied. <P>SOLUTION: The covered conductor 79 conducing high voltage to the charging roller, developing roller, or primary transfer roller or secondary transfer roller from a high voltage power unit that has the high voltage power source circuit, not shown, is disposed on the surface of the front metal plate 73 while held in the groove 90a of a conductor guide member 90 formed from an insulating resin. The covered conductor 79 and the front metal plate 73 are securely separated from each other by a fixed distance. Such a configuration effectively restrains a current from leaking from a lead wire in the covered conductor 79 to the front metal plate 73 on which the covered conductor 79 is disposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
