<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head capable of improving the close contactness of a face plate with a viscoelastic material without obstructing the assembly work of the golf club head. <P>SOLUTION: In the golf club comprising a head body, a face plate attached to the front surface side of the head body for constituting a face surface, a void part formed on the head body and opened to the side of the face plate, and a viscoelastic material filled in a compressed state inside a space formed by the void part and the face plate, the end face on the side of the face plate of a peripheral wall forming the void part is provided with an abuting part abuting on the back surface of the face plate and a separation part being away from the back surface of the face plate and forming a gap communicated with the void part with the back surface of the face plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
