PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that ink sticks to the vicinity of a suction opening and raises a possibility that it may become impossible to fully suck ink from the suction opening by the suction movement of a recovery unit. SOLUTION: The suction opening is enlarged using a capillary tube force and the ink sticking of the vicinity of the suction opening is prevented by using a cap including a notch having a incline in the bottom face, wherein the notch is communicating with the suction opening in the bottom face.
