PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide automatic regulation of a system parameter of an ultrasonic system in spectral doppler imaging. SOLUTION: A method and an apparatus for automatically regulating parameters employed for the indication of a doppler spectral image include collection of a plurality of spectral lines of doppler data. The partial group of the doppler data is decided from the plurality of spectral lines of the doppler data. The noise characteristics of the partial group of this doppler data are calculated and the signal characteristics of the partial group of the doppler data are specified. The noise characteristics are compared with the signal characteristics and the system parameter is adjusted based on the result of this comparison process. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
