PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prank call addressing method capable of assisting a user who receives a prank call in addressing the prank call by notifying the user of the prank call even if the prank call is the first one or the user is not aware that the prank call is a harassment call. SOLUTION: The prank call addressing method is applied to a system having a communications network 1, a prank call addressing apparatus 3 connected to the communications network 1, a terminal apparatus 2 of a transmission subscriber, a terminal apparatus 6 of an assistant, and a terminal apparatus 5 of a reception subscriber connected to the prank call addressing apparatus 3. The prank call addressing apparatus 3 executes the steps of accumulating assistant information including information about a name of the assistant and a time zone in which the assistant can assist, recognizing the level of security of the terminal apparatus 2 of the transmission subscriber when there is a call, calling the terminal apparatus 6 of the assistant based on the assistant information, depending on the result of the recognition of the security level, and displaying the assistant information of the assistant responding to the call.
