PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lay exhausts pipes of every house in a shared duct of a multiple dwelling house in one day at every story, to dispense with after-work, and to secure a flow rate of the air in the shared duct by lowering occupancy of the forest of exhaust pipes in the shared duct. SOLUTION: A pipe obtained by connecting horizontal exhaust pipes 11 and a riser exhaust pipe 12 into the L-shape is lowered from a house top into the shared duct 2, and bases 11a of the horizontal exhaust pipes 11 are respectively inserted into horizontal exhaust pipe mounting holes 7 of walls 6 of the houses, and temporarily fixed thereto. A lower end of the riser exhaust pipe 12 is provided with an opening portion 14, a damper 18 of the opening portion 14 is opened to use the inside of the riser exhaust pipe 12 as an air passage before a burning appliance 20 is used, and a temperature fuse 18 is melted by the heat of an exhaust gas when the burning appliance is used for the first time, thus the damper 15 is closed, and the riser exhaust pipe is functioned as the exhaust pipe.
