PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device for preventing over-filling, which valve device can prevent the generation of chattering when liquefied gas reaches to a maximum filling volume and an over-filling preventive valve is closed. SOLUTION: A fixed case body 30 is fixed inside a connecting pipe portion 4 of a casing member 3, and the opening of the fixed case body 30 is covered by means of a covering lid body 21 provided in the over-filling preventive valve, and a variable volume zone P surrounded by the fixed case body 30 and the covering lid body 21 is provided. As a result, when the over-filling preventive valve 20 has instantaneously moved to the closed position, the variable volume zone P operates so as to keep the over-filling preventive valve 20 to the closed position, and the chattering of the over-filling preventive valve 20 due to the water hammering phenomenon can be suppressed.
