PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device capable of discriminating between an unwanted fax and a wanted fax and suppressing cost increased by unwanted faxes and useless work due to the unwanted faxes by determining processing contents of the unwanted fax when the possibility of an unwanted fax is determined on the basis of received image data and there is the possibility of being an unwanted fax. SOLUTION: A facsimile machine 1 determines the possibility of an unwanted fax on the basis of reception image data received by a facsimile by an MPU 10. Namely, when a black rate B is equal to or greater than a set point P, the MPU 10 determines that the possibility of an unwanted fax is high.
