PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a verge sheet metal capable of suppressing a deterioration in the quality of fixing hardware by preventing rainwater from falling onto the fixing hardware on a tile-side lateral part. SOLUTION: A gutter groove 24 is formed on the top surface part 22c of a main body part 22. Since this makes the rainwater flow toward an edge of eaves through the gutter groove 24, a wall surface forming the gutter groove 24 can prevent the rainwater from running down onto a gable-side lateral part 22a of the main body part 22 or the tile-side lateral part 22b, or scattering to the gable or tile side. Consequently, since the rainwater can be prevented from falling onto fixing nails 9 existing in each of the lateral parts 22a and 22b, the deterioration of the quality of the fixing nails 9 can be suppressed.
