PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust removing apparatus for a housing with a heat source, capable of easily and automatically removing dust sticking to an air suction part. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: the light source (heat source); a removing member 1 which can be attached from the outside to the air suction part of the housing equipped with a fan for sucking heat source cooling air; and an operating means 2 for automatically operating the removing member 1. The removing member 1 includes a removing main body part 1a that moves and freely rotates. The operating means 2 comprises a threaded rotating shaft 3a capable of moving the removing member 1 while engaging with a screw hole 1e formed in one end of the removing member 1, a guide shaft 3b that freely movably supports the other end of the removing member 1, and a motor 4 that freely rotates backward and forward to rotate the threaded rotating shaft 3a.
