PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which prevents entire deaeration efficiency from being deteriorated even with an enlarged diameter of a cylinder, can obtain powder with a uniform deaeration degree, is easy to be maintained, can work continuously for a long time, and neither becomes large in size nor needs special operation management. SOLUTION: A powder deaerator has a powder inlet 70 at one end and a powder discharge port 90 at the other end, has a rotary cylinder 46 supported rotatably around an axis, a driving motor 60 for driving to rotate the cylinder, a screw conveyer 48 having spiral propulsion blades 82 fixed to a rotary shaft 80 and inserted into the cylinder, placed concentrically with the cylinder and supported rotatably around the axis, and a driving motor 86 for driving to rotate the screw conveyer at a higher speed than the rotation speed of the cylinder.
