The lamp has a transparent or translucent front part (4) forming a light emitting surface (8), where the front part is surrounded or covered by no additional frame. The front part has a coating (12) of raster-type for stimulation of a frame in a circular region (10) in a circumferential direction. The circular region surrounds a central region (14) in which light can be emitted in an uninhibited manner, where transition between the circular region and the central region is discrete. The coating is formed by printing e.g. screen printing.
