A mounting apparatus for an intercooler is provided to appropriately deal with thermal expansion of the intercooler by adapting a shock absorbing device. A mounting apparatus for an intercooler includes a shock absorbing device(7), an upper bracket(5), and a lower bracket(9). The shock absorbing device absorbs shock. The upper bracket is installed on the shock absorbing device to support a lower part of the intercooler. The lower bracket is installed under the shock absorbing device to be connected to a vehicle body. The shock absorbing device has a shrinkage/expansion member(13). The shrinkage/expansion member includes an upper stick(15), a lower stick(21), and a roller(17). The upper stick supplies and discharges the air. The roller is meshed with the lower stick to supply and suck the air into the shock absorbing device.
