Flat component with a grid of through holes

The V-shaped grooves are so formed that those of both dive sides enclose w.r.t. each other an angle. They are so deep that at intersections of front and rear side grooves automatically the through bores are formed. The grooves are pref. formed mechanically by a saw blade rotated at a high speed. Alternately a cylindrical, metal base body with negative profiles w.r.t. the grooves, coated with an abrasion agent, is rotated at high speed for the groove cutting. The base body may contain a non-metallic cylindrical case.
