An organic light emitting display device is provided to freely display an image by selectively controlling penetration and blocking of light. An organic light emitting display device includes a display unit(200), a light blocking layer(302), a first transparent electrode(301), a second transparent electrode(303), a first transparent substrate(201), and a second transparent substrate(304). The display unit(200) has an organic light emitting diode formed in a predetermined area of the first transparent substrate(201), and at least one transparent thin film transistor for driving the organic light emitting diode. A broadband semiconductor layer included in the transparent thin film transistor is made of broadband semiconductor material having a band gap of at least 3.0eV. The light blocking layer(302) is formed at a side facing the display unit(200). The first transparent electrode(301) and the second transparent electrode(303) are formed at upper and lower parts respectively with interposing the light blocking layer(302) therebetween. The second transparent substrate(304) is formed at a surface facing the light blocking layer(302) with interposing the second transparent electrode(303) therebetween.
