APPARATUS FOR MEASURING THE PARAMETER OF INDUCTION MOTOR AND METHOD THEREOF

An apparatus and a method for measuring parameters of an induction motor are provided to exactly control a senseless inverter at all times by obtaining a rotor time constant of the induction motor. An apparatus for measuring parameters of an induction motor includes a first magnetic flux generation unit(210), a second magnetic flux generation unit(220), an error detection unit, and a rotor time constant assumption unit(270). The first magnetic flux generation unit(210) generates a magnetic flux for voltage. The second magnetic generation unit(220) generates a magnetic flux for electric current. The error detection unit calculates an error waveform by subtracting a waveform of the electric current magnetic flux from the voltage magnetic flux. The error detection unit detects an error according to only a rotor time constant by subtracting an error due to a stator resistance and a mutual inductance from the calculated error waveform.
