<p>A thermal trip stop valve is provided to close an emergency valve by separating a pull handle from a lever arm opened under a high temperature condition. A thermal trip stop valve includes a spring loaded emergency valve(40), a pull handle(62), a fusible link(66), and a latch mechanism. The spring loaded emergency valve includes a lever arm eccentric to a closed position and operating a valve to an opened position. The fusible link operatively connects the pull handle to the lever arm so that the pull handle can manually operate the emergency valve. The latch mechanism latches the pull handle to an opened position together with the emergency valve. The fusible link closes the emergency valve by separating the pull handle from the lever arm under a high temperature state.</p> |
