Provided is a system for gathering thunderbolt information, which is small, lightweight, and inexpensive and has excellent performances. The system for gathering thunderbolt information has a thunderbolt measurement apparatus(100) and a data collector(200). A plurality of thunderbolt measurement apparatuses are attached to respective measurement places and have a unit for detecting a thunderbolt current flowing in a conductor(30) by coils to obtain the information on thunderbolt including thunderbolt time. The data collector(200) comprises a unit(24) for connecting to the each thunderbolt measurement apparatus, and a unit for collecting the data obtained by the thunderbolt measurement apparatus(100). A thunderbolt current detection coil in the thunderbolt measurement apparatus(100) is in close vicinity to the conductor(30) and is aligned with the coil axis in the direction of magnetic flux generated by a thunderbolt current flowing in the conductor(30). The detection coil comprises two detective coils having the same shape and the same winding number. The two detective coils are arranged in the same shape with a gap between the relative distances from the conductor(30). The thunderbolt measurement apparatus(100) comprises: a unit for measuring the respective charge voltages of RC charge circuits by induced electromotive force to be induced in the two detective coils; a unit for calculating the distance between any one side of the detective coil and the conductor(30) by the comparison of the charge voltages obtained from the two detective coils; and a unit for calculating a thunderbolt current flowing in the conductor(30) by the distance and the charge voltage of an RC charge circuit by induced electromotive force induced in any one detective coil.
