An Internet shopping system using a mobile terminal and a method thereof are provided to improve efficiency of Internet shopping by strengthening security with the mobile terminal without inputting personal information to a PC. A shopping server(300) provides an Internet shopping mall. A user computer(400) receives goods information of the Internet shopping mall and displays various goods by connecting to the shopping server through the Internet(350), and generates a shopping image corresponding to purchase goods information. The mobile terminal(100) extracts/stores the shopping image as a mobile shopping image and performs mobile payment. A mobile system(200) receives the mobile shopping image and processes the payment related to the received mobile shopping image. The mobile terminal includes an image extractor obtaining the shopping image, a shopping application, an image storing part temporarily storing the mobile shopping image, a payment application, and a purchase information transceiver.
