A keypad of a mobile terminal is provided to enhance a feeling of clicking by pushing a switch through the rotation of a key based on a user's push operation and making the key elastically returned to the original state while an associated signal is being generated. A keypad assembly(100) comprises a main body(10), a plurality of keys(20), a plurality of switches(30), and an elastic pad(40). The keys(20), respectively arranged at key recesses(11) formed at the main body(10), are rotatively hinged and connected with the main body(10) by hinge connection parts(50). The switches(30), installed on a printed-circuit board(60) arranged under the keys(20), respectively generate signals according to the manipulation of the keys(20). The elastic pad(40) operates switches(30) according to the operation of their respective keys(20) and returns the keys(20) to the original state.
