A system and a method for calling a car owner are provided to prevent a vehicle owner's personal information from being exposed to others by enabling the owner of a parked vehicle to be indirectly called out through a membership number, instead of a phone number, and a specific bell sound. A system for calling a car owner comprises a car owner terminal(10), a car owner computer(20), the third party terminal(40), and a management server(30). The management server(30) consists of an ARS server(31) and a member information DB(32). The car owner terminal(10), connected with the ARS server(31), executes membership registration and information modification. The car owner computer(20), connected with the management server(30) through the Internet, executes membership registration and information modification through the homepage of the management server(30). The third party terminal(40), connected to the ARS server(31), gets in touch with the owner of a parked car. The management server(30) manages and controls the ARS server(31) and the member information DB(32). If a request to call the owner of a parked car is generated from the third party terminal(40), the management server(30) searches the member information DB(32) from the car owner and notifies the car owner's terminal(10) that the third party's call request has been generated.
