The module has a cover sided material (2) and an embedding material (4) with solar cells of larger dimensions that are embedded and interconnected with each other by a solar cell connector (6). A rear sided material (3) is arranged behind the material (4). The materials (2, 3) are made up of a special boron-silicate glass (7) having a thermal coefficient of expansion between 4.5x10->6/K and 2 xa0->6/K at room temperature.
