An arbor for a tool holder is provided to prevent oil from being leaked by forming a sealing unit which is coated with an abrasion resistance material. An arbor for a tool holder includes a shank unit(1), an instrument connection unit(21), an oil injection unit(12), and a sealing unit(15). The shank unit is installed on a main shaft of a machine tool. An instrument is mounted on the instrument connection unit. The oil injection unit has an oil receiving space. A penetrated oil hole(10) is formed on an outer side of the oil injection unit. The sealing unit is formed to wrap both sides of the oil hole of the oil injection unit. A coating guide groove which is inwardly recessed is formed on the sealing unit of the oil injection unit. A coating of tungsten carbide or ceramic is formed on the coating guide groove by a powder ejection method. A surface closing process is performed to have the same height circumference of the sealing unit of the sealing unit and the oil injection unit.
