A brake of a vehicle is provided to assemble a strut and a strut spring easily and to make the automation of assembling process for a strut and a strut spring possible by keeping a strut spring not to be separated from a strut using a strut spring stopper. The brake of a vehicle comprises a drum coupled to a wheel to be rotated integrally, primary and secondary brake shoes(102,103) installed to the inside of the drum to be rubbed against the drum selectively by a parking brake lever, equipped with primary and secondary linings(102',103') contacted directly with the drum and supported to a back plate(101) fixed to each vehicle body by primary and secondary shoe holders(102a,103a), a return spring(104) installed between the primary, secondary brake shoes and the back plate, and, between the primary bracket shoe and the secondary brake shoe to support each brake shoe elastically to be distant from the drum, an adjust(106) installed between the primary and secondary brake shoes to compensate the abrasion of the primary and secondary linings to prevent an increase in stroke of the parking brake lever, a strut(112) connected with a parking lever(110) between the primary and secondary brake shoe to rub the primary and secondary brake shoes against the drum by the parking lever and equipped with legs to be fitted to the primary and secondary brake shoes, a strut spring(114) installed between the strut and the secondary brake shoe to support the strut to release the friction of the primary, secondary brake shoes and the drum when releasing parking braking force, and a strut spring stopper installed on the strut to prevent the separation of the strut spring from the strut.
