A supplementary turbo charger is provided to improve engine output during sudden acceleration, and to reduce discharge of unburnt exhaust gas caused by insufficiency of intake air. A supplementary turbo charger(2) includes a plurality of blades(4) for sucking air and delivering the sucked air to a turbo charger(1); a compressed air injection unit for injecting compressed air to the blades; and a control unit for sensing operating state of an accelerator pedal and booster pressure of an inter cooler and controlling the compressed air injection unit. The compressed air injection unit includes a nozzle(5) for injecting compressed air to the blades; and an air compressor(6) for supplying compressed air to the nozzle. The control unit includes a solenoid valve(7) for opening/closing a pipeline formed between the air compressor and the nozzle.
