FIELD: measuring technique. ^ SUBSTANCE: method can be used for estimation of factual condition of motor oil being inside crankcase as well as for checking concentration of mechanical admixtures in motor oil. Method is based upon measurement of time difference of gravitational shift of sensitive element in measuring container, having parts of oil sample, brought to optimal temperature by means of ultrasonic or thermal method. Measurement of time of movement of sensitive element in measuring container is made for both parts of oil samples separately in top and lower halves of measuring container. Estimation of pollution of oil by mechanical admixtures is made on base of comparison of difference in time shift of sensitive element, which differences are taken for lower and top parts of container separately with preliminary composed dependence, corresponding to the preset conditions. ^ EFFECT: improved precision of estimation. ^ 2 cl, 10 dwg |
