FIELD: metallurgy industry; methods of production of the cast products. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of metallurgy, in particular, to production of the high-duty steel cast products having the complex configuration, operating under heavy loadings, and which should demonstrate the high level of the plastic features in the temperatures interval from -60° up to +200°. For the purpose to increase the impact viscosity of the cast product in the process of the low-carbon low-alloy steel is subjected to the micro-alloying by introduction in the tapping ladle of nitrogen in the amount of 0.006-0.032 mass %, at maintaining the ratio of Si/N more than 50 and less than 16. After crystallization the casting is normalized, and then it is heated up to the temperature defined by the empirical formula: th = (940/960)C°-40(Mn-Si)-200(C+N), age it and cool with the rate of 6-50°/minute. The method allows to produce castings with the fine-grain structure. ^ EFFECT: the invention ensures production of high-duty steel casting products having the fine-grain structure, the complex configuration, the high level of the plastic features in the temperatures interval from minus 60° up to plus 200° , operating under heavy loadings. ^ 2 tab |
