<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit of a power train which changes the moving speed of a piston in accordance with various situations during operation of an internal combustion engine and which can change the piston moving speed to the optimal value in any situations. <P>SOLUTION: The power train of a hybrid car or the like is equipped with an engine 1. A motor generator 5 which functions as a generator or a motor is connected to a crankshaft 4 which rotates based on the reciprocating movement of the piston 2 of the engine 1. The piston 2 is also connected to an input/output shaft 8a of a motor generator 8 functioning as a generator or a motor via a connecting rod 3, a connecting link 6, a one-way clutch 7 and so on. By controlling the operation of the motor generator 5 as a generator or a motor and controlling the operation of the motor generator 8 as a generator, resistance to rotation is applied to the engine 1 or the engine is assisted to rotate, so that the moving speed of the piston 2 can be changed to a desired value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
