PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an EL emission device with small and thin size by electrically connecting upper and lower terminals made of an electrode film formed in a projecting part of an EL substrate to an output terminal on the surface of an EL driver module, and covering the EL driver module with resin. SOLUTION: An upper ITO 11 and a lower ITO 12 of a transparent electrode film are formed on upper and lower surfaces of an EL substrate 10, and an upper terminal 13 and a lower terminal 14 are formed in a projecting part 15 on the side surface of the substrate. An EL driver module 20 is constituted with a circuit board 21 on which a circuit of an electronic component is formed, and output terminals 25, 26 and input terminals 27, 28 having a through hole are formed in the outer circumference of the circuit board 21. The output terminals 25, 26, the upper terminal 13, and the lower terminal 14 locating on the same surface as the circuit board 21 are connected in an upper conducting part 30 and a lower conducting part 31 by soldering, and the whole surface except for the input terminals 27, 28 is covered with resin. An EL emission device with high moisture resistance and high quality is obtained. |
