Two explosive components A and B are held in separate chambers in the mould in the centrifuge, A at a temp. above its m.pt. and B at a lower temp., B being denser than A and in granular form. The position between the chambers moves at a particular speed of rotation so that A and B are mixed, A encapsulating of and heat transfer between the two accelerating cooling of the moulding. |
